If you're new to the world of church software, an initial inquiry can be overwhelming. Capterra, an online software resource, currently lists over 150 church software solutions. In addition to the overwhelming number, a cursory glance would lead one to believe they all do about the same thing. At this point, many of us, myself included, would start having second thoughts about software and say something like, "well, were not that big yet, and I can get by with what I am doing now; I'll wait till we grow a little more." This is, of course, an option but doesn't do anything to solve the problems that originally caused you to begin your search. In fact, putting this off to a later time will only make the process more difficult, and, at that point, you'll be so overwhelmed you won't really have a choice.
